MassHealth holds a public hearing on the emergency adoption of regulations imposing a cap on adult coverage for dental services, based on a limit the Legislature agreed to in the fiscal 2027 budget. The cap is $1,750 per member, which officials say is expected to cut costs and is "anticipated to enable MassHealth to maintain dental benefits for the general adult population without cutting services." Gov. Healey wanted to limit adult dental benefits to $1,000 annually.
