Under federal law, residents of long-term care facilities have broad rights to make decisions regarding their lives. This webinar will include information on law and advocacy strategies that enable residents to participate in care planning, control the health care and medication that they receive, accept visitors at any hour of the day or night, and vote in the upcoming elections. In general, the assisted living discussion will apply to facilities that accept Medicaid payment for services.
