National Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Center
Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Federal grant funding for dementia programs — though time limited — can play a critical role in jumpstarting and maintaining vital services and supports. However, achieving long-term sustainability requires careful planning from the outset. In this webinar, participants will hear from a community-based organization that successfully leveraged funding from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to create and implement dementia programs that have continued beyond their federal grant period. Presenters will explain practical strategies for embedding dementia best practices into enduring, community-based care systems. The session will also highlight a new National Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Center report that offers actionable insights and real-world examples of sustained dementia initiatives at both the state and community levels.
