ADA Day is a yearly celebration of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event is held in Boston every July around the anniversary of the ADA signing. This two hour lunchtime event includes a brief speaking program, disability resource fair, food, and fun! The event is for people of all ages to come together to celebrate disability community, access, inclusion, and rights.
Charlie Carr, former Commissioner of the Massachusetts Disability Commission and a DignityMA participant, will be honored at the event. He will be represented by Alex Green, also a DignityMA supporter, who will give remarks on Charlie's behalf.
