Evidence is overwhelming that compassionate care is not just "nice to have," but is essential to safety and quality outcomes, patient engagement and caregiver wellbeing. During this talk, Dr. Gustafson will explore strategies to advance compassion for patients and providers, while transforming organizational culture and performance.
Dr. Gustafson currently serves as CEO of the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare, a Boston-based international nonprofit whose mission is to keep compassion in the heart of health care through programs, education, and advocacy.
