Reps. Stanley and Gentile and Sen. Jehlen speak. The coalition is focused on ensuring adequate reimbursement rates and benefits for providers. Elder home care advocates have called on the Healey administration and Legislature to provide more funding to keep up with soaring demand for services and case management. Providers are expecting to run out of money this spring, which could limit older Bay Staters from accessing new services. To manage caseloads, state officials have tightened eligibility parameters for an elder home care program serving frail individuals.
